Somewhere around the age of 14, there was a string activity popular with girls in my area.
One person would hold a design and another person would take the design from the first persons fingers.
Was this a particular game or design?

Boys played it, too. I can still do the first three, the rest have deserted an aging brain.

Oh, yeah! Loved doing that as a kid. The Polynesians I believe used to do incredibly complex ones.
