I love all the layers: the golden layers with the sun's iridescent disk seeming to sit on the clouds; next, the layers of hills below; and lastly, the darker foreground with the perfect silhouetted trees!
Wow.
I remember it being chilly that morning and I was snug in my sleeping bag when the phone alarm sounded. I walked in darkness from my campsite to the overlook and waited.
