You have heard about all roads lead to Rome. Well all navi systems try to keep you out of this town.
Nice little midieval town on a small hill. With a surprizingly good restaurant. The old castle church is there and offers great views of the surounding countryside. The region has a lot of yellow coloured stone.

I love the fifth picture with the contrasting facades, & the second one is so interesting & has an Escher feel to it, & I can picture a cat popping out of that hole in the last one.

Great collection!

When you mentioned Rome, I hoped you were about to mention a hilltop town near my ancestral homeland that I visited with my family last Easter. This reminds me so much of Pofi, located between Rome and Naples. The views are absolutely stunning from the top of the town square. The people are so pleasant and surprisingly young considering the surroundings. Roads so narrow that only one car could pass. Timeless... ancient yet ready to face another 1000 years.

Been here forever but new to posting. I haven't a clue how to upload my photos but they would be so similar to yours. This subtle beauty is so foreign to American sensibilities. Tear it down and replace.... It is so nice to have the opportunity to visit such places and that they have been so meticulously preserved by the families. Thank you for sharing.
