(6,472 posts)Did you turn that one beautiful blackberry up for the little green spark?
CaliforniaPeggy
(156,985 posts)I normally do not manipulate the elements in my photos. And I did not touch any of the berries for a better effect!

(12,785 posts)I am jealous, we never see berries so perfect here. Those fully ripe strawberries lacking the ubiqutous white hips we see on ours. I think thats why they dip them in chocolate.
BTW, What are the yellows? I think Ive eaten those long ago, but cant remember what they are.
CaliforniaPeggy
(156,985 posts)We are blessed with an extraordinarily giving climate and I believe that is why our berries are so good.
The yellow berries? I think they may be gooseberries. There are apparently a great many varieties.

(42,518 posts)If you've never tried them before, grab a box. You won't regret it.
There are other yellow varieties, but those seem to be the most common. The flesh is nothing like other cherries.
CaliforniaPeggy
(156,985 posts)The boxes aren't usually labelled, so it can be challenging to discover their names.
I'll ask!
