known as Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) took my daughter on 03/20/14. When they discuss SMN1 & SMN2, gene therapy, disease progression, and other things, it takes me right back to a sterile conference room in January of 2012 where my wife and three doctors were waiting for me to get off of work to give me the news. I DVR'd it, because I knew I couldn't make it through an episode without dealing with flashbacks. It is a terrific series, so far.
