They said there was a bar where you could throw axes at the targets. And I goggled that clip. It wasnt just ed Ames that she learned about, but also Johnny Carson. He was really very smooth, with his humor and jabs.

Kind of embarrassed to admit I lived in the Branson, MO area and helped manage a theatre for a while. Ed had a short running show teamed with Carol Lawrence (of West Side Story on Broadway). He was a nice and funny guy, he had his giant poodle with him and was a lot of fun...We hawked his cds together after the show....Weird but glad I met him...
