Ok, kinda weird.......flipping through channels....don't have any streaming channels....so I flip...

anyway, I see when flipping through, on TBN Andrea Bocelli: “The Heart of Christmas”……. so I think, love Andrea….. so I turn to it….and there are his 3 sons, a woman, I assume his daughter, or wife of one of his sons, the TBN couple and a granddaughter all around Andrea and this magnificent piano……..they start singing Silent Night, and I swear to gawd…..the TBN couple, Andrea, one of his sons, and the, I assume wife of one of the sons are singing Silent Night. They’re the only ones singing Silent Night…..2 sons, and the grand daughter aren’t sing it. The granddaughter is mouthing stuff but not the song and the two sons aren’t even attempting to pretend like they’re singing. Weird…..just kind weird. Who doesn’t know Silent Night???? Ok turning to NBA and the Milwaukee Bucks Vs Boston ☘️

1. he used go to to this restaurant

about half a mile down the street. It was an Italian restaurant and a good one, too. He was always with other musicians because I think he was performing in NY. For whatever reason, it was well known he had a fondness for this particular restaurant.

The RG speaks fluent Italian so I would also get a smile out of it when he and Andrea would talk about wines in Italian. They would send each other a waiter with a new bottle that had just been uncorked. Then the RG would remark on the wines, which Andrea loved. The RG does know his wineries in Italy; lived there for over 20 years.



On another note, I finished watching "The Man on the Inside" with Ted Danson, showing on Netflix. I've never watched anything with Ted Danson in it before. I really loved this mini-series and understand they'll do a second season. Yay! I'm going to look around for other productions he's been in. If anyone can make movie recommendations on him, I'd be interested.

2. Maybe they only know "Silent Night" in a different language, not English

I don't think it's so strange. The song was written in German about 150 years ago, and it was probably translated into Italian long before it became known in the English version that we know.
