There's a new season of "The Bear" coming?

I thought they wrapped it up nicely at the end of S4. I think I'm going to have to skip it since there's a decent chance it'll jump the shark. I hate when they milk shows like that.

I enjoyed seasons 1-3. I haven't watched 4. Don't know if I'll pick it up again. IcyPeas Sunday #4

... when it started, and the restaurant's growing pains were so authentic, and touched with some humor.
But when nearly every episode was shot with ultra-closeups... not so much. Sure, it saved time with rehearsals, blocking, and camera angles, but that particular fad was short-lived, and with good reason: It was tedious to watch.
Jeremy Allen White and the rest of the cast are excellent actors and deserve a better directorial showcase for their talents. Here's hoping this upcoming final season returns to what was tried, true, and effective: Seeing the actors moving through their working environment with grace and style while delivering the sharp dialog that has always been an essential part of "The Bear".
Thank you, Chef!

It seemed to move away from the basic plot. And maybe it was all the closeups that were irrupting as well. And I just hated the Christmas dinner episode. Sensory overload. S4 got back on track. But I thought they ended it on a nice note and wrapped everything well. No need for me to watch a 5th season.
