Massive American flag stolen in Hot Springs one day after President Biden's inauguration

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — A 40-by-80-foot American Flag that has flown over Hot Springs bypass for several years is suddenly gone.

Someone stole it overnight and vandalized the area. People making their morning commutes were the ones who noticed it missing.

"Beyond disbelief for us,” said Trevor Hamilton, spokesperson for Alliance Rubber Company, owner of the flag. “It stands for so much. Not only for Alliance Rubber Company to say we are proud to be made in the USA, but also the community. They rally around it so much. There’s a big cry out from the community right now.”

Alliance Rubber Company put up the massive American flag in September 2015.
Since then, it's never been bothered until now, just one day after President Joe Biden's inauguration.
