2. I've gotten a bunch w/ no unsubscribe

I’ve recently gotten a bunch of Republican solicitations via email with no unsubscribe option provided. When I reply with “unsubscribe” in the title line and again in the body that come back as undeliverable. Leave it to Republicans to break the law even when they are fund raising

3. Crap: I looked into the law...

Turns out political email is exempt from spam laws and the unsubscribe requirement. Even though we know that political fundraising is itself a commercial activity, apparently it can’t be regulated like other commercial activities.
