Green Forest man; Hardy physician sentenced for Internet-related crimes

An Internet stalker and a physician who tried to arrange sex with children on-line have received federal prison sentences, the U.S. attorney's office in Fort Smith has announced.

* Steven Lesmeister, 39, of Green Forest, was sentenced to 105 months in federal prison for stalking three teens, two of them minors, on the Internet by sending sexually explicit and threatening text messages and videos to their email accounts.

* Dr. Donald Wayne Lamoureaux, 69, of Hardy, a physician who practiced in Arkansas and Missouri, was sentenced to 15 years in prison after being caught in a Fort Smith police sting aimed at people trying to entice minors into sexual activity. Said the release:
