Listening to Kara Swisher speaking with Ezra Klein and Derek Thompson critiquing our inability to defend blue states.
They seem concerned that CA could vote Republucan next time. Seems unlikely until you hear their argument. I did a quick google sesrch of Karen Bass. Shes in deep sh*t. Fires exposed much weakness. Because of high costs and the inability to overcome nimby's at town halls, they succeed in causing stagnation. I agree that we need to cut regulations and build, build, build. And rebuild. If there's an apartment building needing updating, find a way to make it happen. It would solve so many problems.
Give a listen. They make valid points about making Democrats a great party by getting things done.

(10,006 posts)The fact that we get to contribute money to protect us from the scamming/thieving GOP, isn't going to be enough. Bass ran to help solve the homeless problem in a humane way. Compounding the problem is mother nature. Latest I could find...
