High Park fire
Springer fire
Estes Park fire (started yesterday)
the fire in Cortez

What else have I missed?

from the map. It sure does not make what you're really looking at very clear. I am in the middle of the Weber, Stateline and Little Sand triangle...300 plus miles from Denver.

Because of the lack of snow pack, the trees like in Big Bear Lake die because of the bark beetles. It doesn't stay cold enough to kill them off when it's time, so they live longer and destroy more trees. Climate change happens all different kinds of ways.
