Does anyone know why 'Colorado's Progressive Talk' radio station has been off the air at night?
I do like the Alan Combes program ... he is humorous and a great talk radio craftsman, in my opinion. But when I tune-in around 11:00 PM, all I'm getting is static.
I also like the Bill Press Show and it has been on the air in the early morning.
(Of course, the moment 'Glo' starts her 'jive talk' the radio goes off.)

I only ever listen during the day; tend to turn it off after Norman.
Is it possible that it's not off the air, but they just turn the power down on the antennae. I know that used to happen to another station I listened to (can't quite remember which one. It was many years ago.) It had to do with their license or something. Or possibly some other station turns their power UP, and it interferes with 760.
Not sure if any of that makes sense or is what's actually happening, but it's the only thing I can come up with.

Combes had Mort Sahl as a guest last night -- great show!

I usually catch Bill Press. Glo and my favorite, Thom Hartmann!
Norman and Randy get annoying to me at times and I have gotten into the habit lately of listening to Coast to Coast on 850 in the evenings. My guy had some sciatic pain which kept him up and I started listening, too.
I also love National Geographic Weekend with Boyd Mattson and of course, Ring of Fire with Pap and Sam Seder!
I don't have many problems with reception. Lived in Lakewood until recently. Now I am in Greeley for a few months.
I never had a problem with the station coming in. Sometimes in Greeley, it is not as strong, though.
I am looking forward to coming back south to Lakewood, Golden or even Boulder. Greeley if far too conservative for my tastes.
I am adding that I used to sleep with the radio on, but stopped after my daughter reminded me how unhealthy that was. After Alan came, the Leslie Marshall show would start, which I gotta admit was my least favorite. Leslies voice would just grate on me.
