U.S. Rep. Cory Gardner to enter U.S. Senate race against Mark Udall

Republican Congressman Cory Gardner is planning to drop his re-election bid and run for the U.S. Senate seat held by Democrat Mark Udall, The Denver Post has learned.

Gardner is expected to make an announcement in a few days, according to two Republicans who spoke on background.

does he have a better chance against Udall than the TP guy? Udall made a bit of a mess about the Obamacare issue. I am not too fond of his ideas like fracking. He also is an honorary board member of the ThirdWay. Still I will have to try to campaign for him, because this year all the gun nuts will come out to vote.

2. Ken Buck is now running for Congress instead of Senate.

He swapped races with Gardner.

This is getting wilder and wilder. Buck seems to think those miles of videotape have disappeared. NOT!

3. It's going to take some doing to defeat Gardiner.. he's slicker than snot and has the cash

Defeating Buck, a bit better, he's so bat shit crazy. Thanks for the info on Vic Meyers. I've bookmarked his site and will gladly contribute a few bucks (against Buck.)
Don't forget Andrew Romanoff running against Coffman in the 6th..

In any case, us Colorado Dems have our work cut out for us.
