https://www.wfla.com/news/hillsborough-county-flips-red-as-republicans-take-majority-in-voter-registration/TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Florida’s third-largest county has flipped to a Republican majority as the county turns red in voter registration.
According to a Florida GOP release, Republicans now lead in a total of 58 out of 67 counties across the state.
The Republican Party of Florida Chairman Evan Power congratulated leaders for the party’s win,
“President Trump’s Golden Age is upon us, and Florida voters are showing support for his initiatives by registering as Republicans, rejecting the great harm Democrats have inflicted upon our great nation,” Power said.
The GOP predicts Miami-Dade to be the next county to follow suit further strengthening the Republican Party’s hold on the state of Florida.
