Fulton County challenges legality of election records seizure
Officials in Fulton County, Ga., are challenging the legality of the FBI’s seizure of records from its Election Hub and Operation Center last month.
Federal agents raided the Atlanta-area elections office on Jan. 28 for records connected to the 2020 presidential election, executing a search warrant.
Fulton County Commissioner Marvin Arrington Jr. submitted a request Wednesday to have all records remain in Georgia and provide an opportunity for a forensic accounting of all the documents, according to Reuters.
“Frankly, though, it’s really too late,” he told the news wire.
