As contract talks drag on, Hilton Hawaiian Village workers rally in Waikiki

Union members are calling for better pay, job protections and changes to workloads.

They plan to hold signs through 5:30 p.m. Friday on the beach side of the Hilton Hawaiian Village (near Tropics and the Hilton lagoon).

UNITE HERE Local 5 represents 1,800 workers at the Waikiki resort, the largest hotel in the islands and the largest Hilton in the world.
