How do I vote if I'm out of state?

n Hawaii, registered voters will receive their general election ballot packet in the mail on or after Oct. 18. Completed ballots must be submitted by 7 p.m. on Nov. 5.

But how do people vote if they are out-of-state during those dates? This may affect travelers, college students, and others.

People who have previously registered to vote may request a ballot be sent to an alternate address. This can be done by completing an Absentee Ballot Application.

Note: Voters must submit the Absentee Ballot Application to the County Elections Division at least 7 days before the election.
