University of Idaho fraternity suspended for undisclosed allegations

MOSCOW, Idaho -- A University of Idaho fraternity has been suspended and is under investigation due to undisclosed allegations.

University officials said Tuesday that the chapter of Delta Sigma Phi is accused of engaging in behavior that is inconsistent with the university's policies, The Lewiston Tribune reported (http://bit.ly/2dLclp6 ).

UI Dean of Students Blaine Eckles said he doesn't know if the fraternity's national organization had suspended the chapter and that he couldn't provide more details about the investigation.

"In order to preserve the sanctity of the investigation and in order to conduct a thorough one, we don't get into the specifics," he said.
