Early voting begins across Illinois as Novemebr election approaches

Early voting began Thursday for most of Illinois outside of Cook County.

Capitol News Illinois reports local election authorities could begin sending out Vote by Mail ballots Thursday.

For early voting hours, please contact your local election authority. You can also check for that information by using Capitol News Illinois’s new election guide at capitolnewsillinois.com.

State law provides 40 days prior to an election for local authorities to allow early voting.
