Washington mayoral candidates sound off on amphitheater and other issues before election
TAZEWELL COUNTY (25News Now) - For the first time in more than 20 years, Washington will elect a new mayor in April.
Longtime Mayor Gary Manier announced last year that he won’t seek re-election.
The two candidates running to replace him answered questions from their community Saturday at an event organized by the League of Women Voters of Greater Peoria.
Both Lili Stevens and Mike Brownfield currently serve on the Washington City Council.
