privatizing our infrastructure the way he screwed up our Toll Road system and power grid...Say what you want but Daniels just entered the 2020 Republican primary...

1. He will need to answer why the toll road rights were sold

for 60% more than what the state received for it eight years earlier. This was a distressed sale coming out of a bankruptcy (also would be interesting for a forensic accountant to go through where every dollar actually went on that original deal - I suspect most of it went into the dealmaker's pockets and a portion got kicked back to those who allowed the original sale.

I mean, he's not as bad as Trump but he's still a Republican. Out of curiosity, what makes you think he might be running in 2020?

3. Trust me ..Daniels is/was determined to stay clear of politics once

.he took the job as President of Purdue..he crossed the line and broke his silence. It was probably the Republican party leaders, the high rollers, that knocked on his door as to what they might believe is the savior of the Repukes hopes for 2020.
Trump will obviously not run..Maybe they look at Daniels as the Gerald Ford of 1974.

4. 2020 is a ways out

and Trump will pretty much have to be dragged out of the WH. He would never go voluntarily (or quietly).
