INDIANAPOLISThe Indiana House amended a controversial handgun bill Monday, setting the stage for a final vote as soon as Tuesday.
House Bill 1077 would repeal the states licensing requirement that for carrying a handgun without a permit while setting penalties for those who do not possess them legally.
Rep. Ed Clere, R-New Albany, proposed an amendment that if a juvenile is caught in a misdemeanor crime, they arent charged as a felon for also having a handgun.

(14,176 posts)Indianapolis set a record for homicides last year, and rather than address the elephant in the room, the GA is going after lenient judges and bail, especially the Bail Project, which fits nicely with the racist subtext that seethes through legislation here.
There are some real gun-humpers in the House who, if they could, would issue a gun to everybody at birth.
These people suck.
(Oh, and about the judges? They arent elected in Marion County (Indy). Theyre appointed by a committee established by the you guessed it GA. So the GA is responsible for the judges its now pissed at. You dont need to be insane to live here, but it helps.)
