Rand on the no free stuff kick now

Ugh.

Rand Paul on Tuesday worked an audience of mostly students at Loras College, offering them an argument against "the notion of a politician who wants to give you free stuff."

More than 150 people showed up to listen to the Republican U.S. senator from Kentucky, who is in the midst of a presidential campaign. Paul is attempting to recruit 10,000 Iowa students to caucus for him in 2016.

At least one of the attendees wore a sticker supporting the man whose policies Paul railed against: Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.

"If Bernie were here he'd say, 'Free college education. Give it to them free,'" Paul said. "Nothing is free, though. Somebody else has to pay for it."

I just wish these idiot Republicans would find someplace else to go...such as Gehenna...instead of dousing Iowa in the stupid.

It sure as hell isnt free, it is paid for by taxes, and since the wealthy and Wall Street have more money than they could ever spend or need, it is insane not to educate our people.

Reagan broke the brains of Americans when he told them that working people really dont deserve anything.

It is ridiculous for us to deny education to anybody simply because they cannot afford it. Certainly there should be qualifications for higher education, but money sure the hell shouldn't be one of them. Every American should have the opportunity to have the highest level of education and training they can handle.

The more education our people have, the higher the potential benefit to our country, our ideals, and our citizens.

Denying people education is not free. We will all have to pay for it.
