Bernie in Davenport Friday
Friday, October 23 Bernie Sanders will be here in the beautiful city of Davenport, Iowa and he is bringing some friends. Marshall Crenshaw, Wayne Kramer, Jill Sobule, and Brother Trucker are coming with him. The whole thing is free but one must have a ticket to enter the beautiful (and acoustically great) Adler Theater. Doors open at 6:30 and the extravaganza starts at 7:30. Tix are available at his HQ in Davenport, which is located on Federal Street or online at his website. This should be good. As mentioned, the Adler is a fine place for concerts and can seat around 3000 people I think. And there is not a bad seat in the house. Come join Bernie and his musician friends. Heck, if you are a DUer and can prove it, I will be you a beer if they are selling any. If not, we can go to one of the fine brew pubs downtown and imbibe. Hope to see you there!
