Ouachita Parish Police Jury approves several millage renewals for March 29 election ballot
MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The Ouachita Parish Police Jury approved several millage renewals on Nov. 18 to be placed on the ballot for the March 29, 2025 election.
At their meeting on Monday, the police jury approved a 7.43 millage renewal for those who live within East Ouachita Recreation district one.
The millage would begin in 2026 and would end in 2035.
The tax dollars would go towards operating, constructing, equipping and maintaining the recreational facilities in the district.
