It looks like a shutdown of the government. The Republicans want to kill the Affordable Care Act which they have tried over forty times already. They made their number one priority for the first four years to stop Obama from getting reelected. There are people like Trump who have spent a vast amount of time trying to prove the president was born in a foreign country. Some have looked for a reason to impeach the president. Some of the most rabid attacks of late are from the boys from Texas, Rand Paul now of Kentucky and Ted Cruz. This is a question that will never be answered but it is still a point I ponder. Now I know that none of the people who want to expunge any record of the president’s time in office would ever be racist. If, however, he had been white Anglo Saxon with a name like John Smith would the Tea Party and Republicans have treated him different?
