Mike Duggan, a Dem, seems to be a pretty good mayor for Detroit, and would probably make a pretty good governor. Benson would also make a good governor.

But, with Duggan running as an Independent, I think the Dem vote will be split between the two qualified candidates, and the Republican will skate into the governor's office.

I hope Duggan wakes up soon. He should either drop out of the race, or vie in the Dem primary. This "Independent" run will doom us.
