Ah, Mid-Michigan. It's 72 degrees and sunny. Tomorrow will be 48 and rainy. There's even a mention of snow.

I'm still not counting out another big snow storm. I remember one April when we got BURIED in snow. That was followed by a 10" rain fall and terrible flooding. I worked with my Dad to put down lots of sand bags and get 2 sump pumps going. He stopped our basement from flooding by installing a 'stand pipe' in the floor drain. The dad of my best friend decided to block the incoming water by plugging the floor drain with a fireplace log. The pressure got so bad that it cracked the foundation. (Their house, like ours, was right on Thread Creek.) And he was an engineer at GM!!

Anywhoo, this Michigander is hoping for an early and very pleasant Spring. Which, BTW, starts TOMORROW!!!!!!!

They’re the only ones I’ve seen that do the wave and cheer when the sun comes out from the clouds.
