2. Is the Ice Carnival still happening?

I lived in Minneapolis not quite two years (1982-1983) and loved the ice carnival. It looks like it might be far too warm to have it anymore.

In the early 80's it was wondrously cold there. I loved it. Wind chill many degrees below zero. I would still be there, but my husband could not find work, and so we relocated to Phoenix, and over time to several other places.

I really, really loved living in Minneapolis.

The river has not frozen for years……it used to, and we’d see fox, deer, and coyotes walking on the frozen river. It hasn’t been frozen for at least 10 years I’d say. We’ve lived here for 24 years.

and it used to be so reliable.. If it said snow, or rain would start in 21 min it did.
