So I just got polled by Rasmussen

This has happened several times - no doubt because I'm old & still have a land line. Their polls are always push 1 for a, 2 for b, etc. Their polls always include a few questions that can't be answered with yes/no & that clearly imply you're a commie loving socialist if you answer a certain way.

Tonight's poll included this question: "It has been reported that FEMA has spend X millions of dollars providing for the needs of immigrants" (I can't swear the recording said "illegal" or not). Should FEMA money be used for for immigrants or should FEMA money be used for 'Muricans?" (1 for immigrants, 2 for 'Muricans, 3 for don't know - I picked 1 just to be contrary).

No, there's no bias in that poll.

You can word questions so that they get the answer they want.

Press 1 for YES.
Press 2 for NO.
Press 3 for . . . I'd like to slap her sometimes, but she'd kill me!
Press 4 for . . . actually, she hits me sometimes, but only because I'm a pain!
Press 5 for . . . Not falling for that one!

Nuanced questions aren't common in polls.

At least you can hang up on them if you feel you are being led astray. lol

They have (D)evolved to where they are impersonating company executives and asking for passwords to sensitive computers.

Trust nobody, because what's on the end of the line or computer router may have NO BODY.

It's the AI-Pocalypse in my book.

And yes, the questions really do prejudice the outcome.

I hear that the GOP ( and the media ) had to change their question of "How often to you beat your wife?" to
"How often do you beat your husband" when Kamala got the nomination.

Same deal, actually.
