Yard/street signs

In the suburbs, at least, party affiliation is not mentioned on the signs. The only clue is that the Rs are red and the Ds are blue, with occasional white and red sprinkle.

Except for one: Kendall Qualls is an R running to unseat Dean Phillips and his sign is as blue as any other Democrats. Wonder why

but that might be because she had primary challengers. What's interesting to me is that her GOP challenger, Lacy Johnson, doesn't mention anywhere in his campaign literature that he's a Republican, let alone on his lawn signs. In the general election it's probably assumed most people know which party a candidate belongs to, unless they're trying to be cagey about it (like Johnson, who probably wants people who don't care for Omar to think he's a Democrat, or at least not a Republican, considering he's Black and from North Mpls).

We had that happen in WI during the state senatorial recall elections.

A couple of candidates had been well-known campaign managers for the GOP and we weren't supposed to know.

and his Minnetonka campaign office was broken into.

The statement on the Facebook post is:

"To the thieves stealing campaign signs from my supporters’ lawns across the district and the criminals who broke into our Minnetonka campaign office overnight, the irony isn’t lost on me. Your disregard for law and stoking of fear and disorder only increases my resolve.

If your yard sign has been stolen, you can get another one by visiting phillipsforcongress.org/yardsigns
. Keep the faith."
