2 aldermen races on Pearl special election ballot
PEARL, Miss. — Two aldermen positions are on the ballot Tuesday for a special election in Pearl.
Residents in Ward 6 will vote for one of two candidates to represent them on the Board of Aldermen: Thomas Kyle Foster, or Chris Tapia.
An alderman at large position is also on the ballot. Ray Durr Jr., Bryce Randal, Leon Seals and David E. Stovall are the candidates for that citywide race.
Because it’s a special election, only one polling place will be open. Voters can cast their ballots in the Gold Room in the Pearl Community Center on Old Brandon Road, which will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
