SPOTLIGHT RACE: Joe Pereles for MO-SD15
Joe Pereles is a retired attorney, businessman and a long time volunteer with the Red Cross. Joe spent decades as the general counsel and hotel development lead for Drury Hotels based in St. Louis. In that role, he negotiated job-creating deals with stakeholders in communities across the country.
For almost 40 years, Joe has volunteered with the Red Cross, serving in international, national and local positions. He is a member of the local Disaster Action Team which responds on the scene to disasters including storms, fires or floods. In that role, Joe works with his team to provide victims of disasters with immediate assistance like food, shelter or financial aid.
Joe's experience in business and community service have taught him to listen, build consensus and get things done. In the legislature, Joe will use this experience to restore common sense and pass policies that work for everyday Missourians. Joe's top priorities in the legislature will be improving public safety, fully funding and supporting public education and restoring reproductive rights.
