Montana, Confused About Voting In The 2020 Election? "Better Know A Ballot" Is Here To Help!

Hey Montana! Stephen Colbert wants to help all Montanans exercise their right to vote in the 2020 election. The guidelines for registering to vote and voting by mail can be confusing so here are all the resources you need to make a plan to vote! Visit http://www.BetterKnowABallot.com/MT for all the details!

Stephen mentioned the annual migration of snow geese and swans at Freezeout Lake...I’ve been there dozens of times for that event. Freezeout sits near the foothills of the Bob Marshall Wilderness. I don’t think there is a more stunning back drop to experience the tens of thousands of birds that move through that area in the fall. It is a major stopover in the central flyway for geese, swans and ducks migrating from Canada to TX and the Gulf of Mexico for the winter. It’s called Freezeout because the lake is quite shallow and once it is frozen, it stays that way till spring. If it is frozen when the birds come, they have to keep going to find rest and food on their journey.

Thanks Rhiannon! GOTV!

Stephen made one of these for each and every state - plus D.C. - and it can't have been easy, researching all the individual state websites and the voting options are different in every single one, though I realize that he likely just did the fun part, talking about the features of each state and being amusing, LOL.

And I did find the one from Montana to be particularly interesting, we see duck and geese migration in these parts, but all those snow geese and swans in one place must be spectacular, thanks for sharing more about it! I have never been to Montana, though I've always wanted to visit Washington State since I used to be responsible for their newspaper television listings, so got to know about the area. But the more I hear, the more interesting it sounds - though I'm guessing that you have similar winters to those we have in New York and I'm not a fan. But if I ever make it to the Pacific Northwest, Montana is on my itinerary!

Thanks for adding to my picture of your home turf and yes - GOTV! I have the option of early voting for the first time ever and am planning to give that a try...
