Central Valley Fire District mill levy to hit November ballot
BELGRADE, Mont. — Nearly a year ago the Central Valley Fire District proposed to voters a 30 mill levy that could’ve had a large cost impact to taxpayers.
The ballot item got turned away but, the agency regrouped and here’s what they’re proposing now.
The Central Valley Fire District is asking voters for 23 mills instead of 30 mills
The purpose of the mills is to fund increased operating costs and staffing for emergency response within the district they provide services for.
