RANDOLPH, N.H. Seven people are dead and two others injured after a pickup truck was involved in a crash with multiple motorcycles on Route 2 Friday night, according to NECN news.
Witnesses described a devastating scene as bystanders tried to help.
State police declined to release details Friday evening about how the accident occurred, but a photo posted by WMUR-TV showed motorcycles and wreckage scattered across the highway and a truck on the shoulder in flames.
Jerry Hamanne, co-owner of a nearby bed-and-breakfast that was hosting one of the bikers in the group, said he and a doctor also staying at his inn went to the scene to help. Others tried to assist as best they could.

RANDOLPH, N.H.
Scotty Swann is at a loss for words -- still in shock over what happened to his fellow Marines on Friday night on Route 2 in Randolph.
The Marine veterans, who are members of the Jarheads Motorcycle Club, were among the seven killed in a crash involving their motorcycles and truck. Police say the truck was traveling west on Route 2 before it collided with the motorcycles traveling east.
Swann said members of the motorcycle club had just left their hotel for an event at the American Legion.
