National Democratic committee plans $356,000 investment in state races

As much of the country focuses on the presidential election, the national Democratic Party is setting its sights on the New Hampshire Legislature.

Wednesday, the party’s Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee plans to announce a $356,000 investment in House and Senate races as part of its “Summer of the States” campaign.

With its $2.2 million summer initiative, the party is targeting what it sees as top battleground states. The list also includes Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Arizona.

This investment is a portion of the $60 million the group plans to invest in state legislatures over the 2024 campaign cycle.
