Gwen Walz to campaign in NH for Harris-Walz ticket
MANCHESTER — Minnesota first lady Gwen Walz, wife of Democratic vice-presidential nominee Tim Walz, is set to appear at two campaign events for Vice President Kamala Harris on Wednesday in New Hampshire.
She will be headlining a “New Way Forward Tour” stop in Manchester with campaign volunteers before participating in an "Educators for Harris-Walz" event with New Hampshire leaders later, according to a Harris-Walz campaign official. She will speak about the contrasts between Harris and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, including warning about Project 2025.
The stop is part of the “New Way Forward Tour” taking place from Sept. 12-15 and is part of the campaign’s efforts to “mobilize support, drive enthusiasm, and reach the voters who will decide this election,” according to a campaign press release. It comes after the first presidential debate between Harris and Trump.
Gwen Walz is also scheduled to make stops in Georgia and Maine.
