(3,277 posts)I'm a NYC transplant to NJ ,and during conversations with high level politicians, after saying "fuck," they apologized to me.
Brooklyn born, raised in Queens, lived in Manhattan until 1st child was a year old and taught in the South Bronx during the '70's
yet they thought they were offending me. Salty language is serious in NJ.
BTW, I was totally offended that they thought they needed to apologize!
These tweets were a breath of fresh air!
