Two Middlesex County women charged with voter fraud
Middlesex County’s prosecutor charged two women in unrelated cases of voter fraud, according to a Friday press release.
Lori Mulligan, a 58-year-old from Parlin, and Katherine Fokas, a 57-year-old from Monroe, were both charged with attempting to vote in the name of a deceased family member. Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said the investigations began off tips from the Middlesex County Board of Elections.
Mulligan fraudulently voted in the name of a deceased relative, according to the release. Fokas was charged with submitting a forged application for a mail-in ballot.
The release says both investigations are ongoing.
