Drones in Montclair, NJ

Did this ever surprise me, as I was under the impression that the drones were pretty much all in Morris and Somerset Counties.

However, a few days ago I was walking on Park St. in Montclair and I found someone's AirPod. Ever since I purchased mine, I've been worried about losing one. All that concern and it turns out I find someone else's.

Consequently I was going through online sites where I could put a "found" ad in Lost & Found, and I turned this up in Montclair Local: Multiple Mysterious Drone Sightings in Montclair, Poice Report.

The most interesting one has a picture. Amazing. Over by my fave ice cream emporium, Applegate Farm! This drone, the person who saw it said, was as big as a school bus!! See pic at link.

There are other sightings mentioned in the story. The one with the flashing red and white lights was a large quad propeller drone. That was seen flying above Valley Road, the road on which I used to live! I just can't imagine what that must have been like. Valley is a major north/south street in Montclair, so maybe the drone was using it to locate or guide itself.

1. Just saw some video. It looks like the kind of drone someone can easily obtain. Doesn't appear alien,

threatening, or anything.

But it’s interesting and fun. We’ll probably end up with strict regulations, maybe even the orb ball I’m getting for a 5 year old.
