ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) The Albuquerque Fire Department has confirmed that one of their employees has been placed on administrative duty after mishandling a 911 call.
A woman can be heard in the 911 call trying to save 17-year-old Jaydon Chavez-Silvers life. The woman curses in the call and Driver Matthew Sanchez can be heard telling her you can deal with this yourself.

Not that this is relevant to the sad fact of the 911 call being wrongly handled. But it's kind of odd to read about a 17 year old getting shot and killed, and there is not even a need to explain why. Why "someone started shooting".
Not even a hint that the writer felt the need to address that question. Just like "it started raining".

He went to a party at a friend's house.
Five minutes after he arrived a car drove by, aimlessly fired into the house, and this boy was the unlucky victim.
