Yo New Mexico.....

Born and raised and went to college here....... but just back after almost 30 years,,,,,

I wanna Bernie group and to make some DU friends!!!!!

Lived in Silicon Valley way too long and feeling lost... need to re-connnect w/ the 505

4. 505 is much of the state.

I'm in Santa Fe and it's area 505. So is Farmington. So is Roswell. So is Las Vegas, NM.

A lot more than Albuquerque.

This is a large state geographically, and 505 covers a lot more than you think.

but 505 is more or less the northeast quadrant. I went on line to try to find a good map that showed a line of demarcation between the two, but there doesn't seem to be one.

I'm also a long distance operator from way back, and I know a surprising number of area codes. The old, original area codes. I sort of miss that they aren't still all that way, but of course so many more phone lines has changed a lot of things.
