NM full of angry indians?

This letter was published in today's Albuquerque Journal:

"My wife and I are retired in Pennsylvania and just finished a 10-day tour of New Mexico ...
It is a land filled with radical feminists, angry Indians and illegal Mexicans ..."

Messed up stuff like that I often see signed as a couple, like "Karl and Doris Smith."

They have judged themselves and found themselves superior in every way.

There's an attorney in that area of PA.
Not that all attorneys are bad, or Trump supporters.

Well, I migrated to New Mexico from Virginia twenty years ago, so I probably know the state better than most visiting trumpsters. So this is my point by point response to the letter writer.

Radical feminists - we have lots of feminists and I say god bless them all. They add energy and diversity to an already energetic and diverse state. They're the green chili on the cheeseburger, a little hot sometimes but always appreciated and respected.

Illegal Mexicans - yep, we have some of those. Unlike this trumpster, though, I've gotten to know a few of them and find them to be gentle, honest, generous, hard working, and friendly. They're nothing like the Danny Trejo movies you stream on Netflix. You could learn a lot from their humanity, courage, and humility.

Angry Indians - dude, you blow into town bragging about your religion while pledging allegiance to trump to everybody you meet? I wouldn't be surprised to learn you were wearing a Washington Redskins hat on your racist head. What you don't realize is indigenous Americans are some of the most spiritual humans on the planet and they can spot an evil spirit a mile away. They weren't angry, they were terrified by the darkness in your soul.

and this guy is an idiot. Among other things he seems top believe Native Americans got here after the Europeans:

"

They call themselves Native Americans, but anybody that’s right-minded knows that America was an uninhabited country and some of the Indians moved in there and now that they want their land, they’re calling themselves native, meaning first in time [and] first in right and that therefore they’re entitled to it. They’re still Indians to me,” he said.

And to say he was told he'd be beat up if were an open Trump supporter is nonsense. I also question the veracity of the claim the hot dog vendor went nuts because his wife wanted cheese on the hot dog.

Here's a link to an article about this and this man in the Santa Fe New Mexican: http://www.santafenewmexican.com/news/local_news/disenchanted-tourist-s-letter-fires-up-new-mexicans/article_cc382779-659a-52d8-9dd2-511e2d71bea7.html

And here's the response from one of the women he confronted on the Plaza: http://www.santafenewmexican.com/opinion/my_view/reader-view-we-were-polite-pa-man-was-looking-for/article_95015f10-0e52-5332-aa36-65d6eebb04d7.html
