Can you bare (bear) it? Next month is your last chance to go “Naked in a Cave” in Upstate New York.
The sixth annual Naked in a Cave at Howe Caverns is scheduled for Sept. 28, 2024. It will be the final Naked in a Cave event, organizers announced on Sunday.
“THIS WILL BE THE LAST YEAR OF OUR NAKED IN A CAVE EVENT! If this event has been on your bucket list, don’t miss out! It’s now or never! This will be your final opportunity to attend this amazing event. Come see some old friends and make some new friends this year because next year, you will have to get naked somewhere else,” Howe Caverns’ official Facebook page said.
Naked in a Cave began on International Nudity Day in 2018 as a body-positive experience, offering hundreds of participants the chance to stroll nude through Howe Caverns in Schoharie County. The deep caves, where the temperature underground is 52 degrees year-round, are the largest open to the public in the Northeast and the second-most popular natural attractions in New York state after Niagara Falls.
