NEWBURY, Ohio (WJW) There was a standing ovation inside St. Helen Catholic School in Newbury on Wednesday for a 6-year-old boy who has now won the biggest battle of his young life.

(18,196 posts)I am watching the help for Tornado victims in Dayton.A warehouse full of really nice clothes for those who are still trying to rebuild their homes and lives.
On Spectrum 1 they announced a plan for state wide passenger rail for 80% of Ohio using existing rails.
I grew up in the railroad era. Wouldnt that be great again?

(13,273 posts)My best friend lost a child to leukemia many years ago. She used to say that there was no hell after death because for a family with a terminally ill child, they lived in hell on earth every day. She has also since passed, and I strongly believe they are both together now in a much, much better place.
