Ohio day cares sue Dr. Amy Acton, Lance Himes over coronavirus pandemic regulations

A lawsuit filed Tuesday on behalf of 40 day care centers across Ohio calls for an end to “unlawful pandemic regulations,” officials said.

The complaint, filed by 1851 Center for Constitutional Law, states there have been no child deaths due to the pandemic in Ohio, “apart from those caused by the policies” put in place by former Department of Health Director Dr. Amy Acton, interim director Lance Himes and the Warren County Health District.

The Ohio Department of Health issued an order May 29 regarding the reopening of child care and day camp facilities. Classroom occupancy was capped at six for infants and toddlers and at nine for preschoolers and school-aged children.

In the lawsuit, these restrictions are described as “arbitrary” and “unlawful.”

****** I guess they will have to stand in line if they want to sue Dr. Acton, since

“Lake County Common Pleas Judge Eugene Lucci wrote that Acton “has acted in an impermissibly arbitrary, unreasonable and oppressive manner” after 35 gyms, fitness centers and health clubs filed a similar suit in May.

Acton was sued again in June by two Ohio music festival organizers who claimed she was violating their First Amendment rights with her statewide ban on music festivals.”

... he's a Republican, like so many corporate fascists.

Governors have indeed been sued, but they're almost always Democrats.

I'm better understanding the George Soros "boogey man", I think. The greedy bastards with money don't want any competition from others with money.

No wonder Dr. Acton stepped down. Too bad she did too good a job--Ohio flattened the curve, so obviously there was never a problem.

As Ohio rapidly reopens, cases are spiking and hospitalizations are going up. Apparently Ohio wanted to model their response on their buddies in Florida, Arizona, and Arkansas--it's going SO well in those states.

The hateful part is the attacks are always on her and not on DeWine. Teach her to be a girl ... and a Jewish girl at that.
