I am confused on Ohio issue 1. I either saw

it on DU or a mailing to end gerrymandering to vote yes on issue 1. This area is covered with red and white signs saying "NO 1". On the bottom in smaller print it says "Stop Gerrymandering". I have seen no Yes on issue 1 signs.

7. There was a snafu in ballot language - 2nd version applied due to court ruling wasn't much better.

Things may change for the better with a bi-partisan unit of 4 retired judges choosing a citizen panel to decide on the boundaries of districts and mapmaking, though I think their recommendation(s) may likely still wind up in the current courts.

Currently, the majority administration does this job of re-districting in the state, is the way I understand it to be. This led to a lot of litigating fairer boundary district maps. At least 5 times the group responsible was ordered to re-draw. Hopefully, I trust that, should Ohio become blue once again or at least purple, this plan would keep district re-drawing more bipartisan and fair. We'll see.

2. Vote yes on Issue One if you want to stop gerrymandering in Ohio

Being confused as to what you are voting for or against as per Issue 1 was the
goal of the Ohio Republicans when the issue got put on the ballot.

3. Voting yes is what I thought. I have been noticing

the NO 1 signs together with Trump and other Republicans, it looked suspicious. A couple years ago there was a Constitutional Amendment that was worded so you voted the opposite of what you wanted.

They are arguing that if partisan hacks aren't in control, lines will be drawn that let Dems rule and break the red lock they have now.

10. They always write theee issues in legalese you need a Philadelphia lawyer to

interpret. Then post signs where yes means no and no means yes. The Republicans have this state so fucked up. The vote for
president means nothing. Our congressional district is so gerrymandered a Democrat can never win. All of our local positions
were decided in the primaries, Democrats don't ever bother to run anymore. There are ads against Sharrod Brown at every
break on TV. According to them he brought 11 million illegals here, they all get free housing, food, health care and SS. My
only meaningful votes are Issue 1, Senator and three state judges.
